How to Debloat iQOO 7, iQOO Z3, iQOO 7 legend or any Vivo Smartphone.

Every Android smartphone comes with pre-installed apps by the manufacturer. Such as native browser, third-party apps and other useless apps. These apps are called “bloatware”.

In today’s article, we have a simple Process to debloat your iQOO 7 Also this method works on all iQOO devices. All you need is Vivo drivers in your pc and USB debugging enabled in your phone.

Before we move ahead you should know what is bloatware

What is Bloatware?

The primary bloatware meaning is futile software that slows your smartphone down. Bloatware refers to any outcast, hidden program on your phone that comes pre-installed by the device manufacturer like OEMS App stores, Browsers and other cringe social media apps etc.

How to Debloat iQOO 7 

You will need to install VIVO drivers Click here to download the drivers

Step 1: Enable USB Debugging

You can follow these steps to call up Developer options:

  • Settings then > more settings then > About phone>Version.
  • Click seven times at the Software version.
  • Developer options will appear in Settings>More settings.
  • Open developer settings and scroll down to USB Debugging, enable it and now you are ready to debloat.

Step 2: Click Here To Download Latest ADB Binaries for Windows.

Extract the downloaded zip file into a folder.

Step 3: Connect your phone to the computer and change it from “charge only” mode to “file transfer (MTP)” mode. 

If the device is not getting detected, Retry after changing the USB function from “file transfer (MTP)” mode to “MIDI” mode.

Step 4: Now, On your computer, browse to the directory you extracted the ADB binary zip.

After that

Step 5: Launch a Command Prompt in your ADB folder by holding Shift and Right-clicking then selecting the “Open PowerShell window here” option.

Step 6: In Terminal window type command ./adb devices

You will see that the system is starting the ADB daemon. If this is your first time running ADB, you will see a prompt on your phone asking you to allow a connection with the computer. Allow it.

Now if you re-run the ADB devices command, the terminal will print the serial number of your device. If so, then you’re ready to move on.

Enter the following command: ./adb shell

Step 7: Debloat command (to permanently delete system app) :

 pm uninstall -k –user 0 ****** , Replace ****** with package name, for example : pm uninstall -k –user 0 com.google.android.apps.youtube.music.

Now Restart your device, As a result Your device will be free from bloatware.

Now UNPLUG and RESTART your phone after finishing all the steps.

How to Debloat iQOO 7 using Auto process (using Bat Script)

Step 1: Enable USB Debugging

You can follow these steps to call up Developer options:

  • Settings then > more settings then > About phone>Version.
  • Click seven times at the Software version.
  • Developer options will appear in Settings>More settings.
  • Open developer settings and scroll down to USB Debugging, enable it and now you are ready to debloat.

Step 2:  To Download Latest ADB Binaries for Windows Click Here.

Extract the downloaded zip file into a folder.

Step 3: Connect your phone to the computer and change it from “charge only” mode to “file transfer (MTP)” mode. 

If the device is not getting detected, Retry after changing the USB function from “file transfer (MTP)” mode to “MIDI” mode.

Step 4: Debloat Script 

Script to autorun debloating commands. Just download it, copy it in the ADB folder and run the “iqoo7_script.bat” file.

As a result, It will debloat your iQOO 7 automatically.

ADDITIONAL USEFUL COMMANDS

To disable but not uninstall (Useful if testing or if you are unsure if you should delete an app): pm disable-user –user 0 ******

To re-enable the disabled app: pm enable –user 0 ****** , Install command: pm install-existing –user 0 ******

Important Note

Whatever You have DEBLOATED Can not be restored without having a factory reset on your device. Also, Pay proper attention to the whole steps to avoid and damage to your device. Be careful.
