Xiaomi is one of the largest IoT brands in the world. They have tons of different IoT products available in China. Every year Mi India held an IoT event called Smarter Life Event, bringing IoT products from new categories to India. Like every year this year also Xiaomi held the same event. However, this time there is no new category, though they upgraded some products with new features. Here are all the details about these IoT devices launched in the Smarter Living Event.
Mi Smart Band 6
Mi Band was always the most awaited fitness band in India. Earlier, it was launched in the China and global markets and people were waiting for the India launch to happen. The Mi Smart Band 6 comes with a 1.56-inch full-screen AMOLED display that has 450 nits of peak brightness and 326ppi of pixel density. It has a total of 30 Fitness modes this includes cricket, Kickboxing, Zumba, etc. The band comes with continuous Heart Rate monitoring and enhanced sleep monitoring. SpO2 tracking is a new addition to that.
The band carries a magnetic port for quick charging. Xiaomi claims that the Smart Band 6 can deliver up to 14 days of battery on a single charge. It has 5 ATM water resistance as well. The price for the Mi Smart Band 6 in India is Rs. 3,499. It will be available for purchase through Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores from August 30.
Mi Notebook 2021 series
Xiaomi upgraded the Notebook models this year. The new Mi Notebook comes with two models – Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook Ultra. The Pro variant comes with a 14-inch 2.5K LCD panel with a 100% SRGB color gamut. This display has DC dimming and a TUV Rheinland certificate. The Notebook is powered by 11th gen Intel Core i5 and i7 H35 processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It has many ports and connectivity options like Thunderbolt 4, USB Type C, HDMI, USB Type-A ports, and Wi-Fi 6 support.
The Notebook has a fingerprint sensor, a three-level backlit keyboard, an HD webcam on the top, and DTS audio processing. This laptop offers up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage support. It comes with 11 hours of battery backup with 65W Type-C charging support. The Notebook has three variants- i5/8GB RAM priced at Rs. 56,999, i5/16GB RAM priced at Rs. 59,999 and i7/16GB RAM priced at Rs. 72,999 only. It will be available for purchase through Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores from August 31.
As for the Ultra variant, there is not a huge difference. The only differences are in the display and battery life. The new Mi Notebook Ultra comes with a 15.6-inch 3.2K LCD panel with a 100% SRGB color gamut. This display has 90Hz refresh rate support. Battery life on the Ultra variant has gone up to 12 Hours. Other’s specifications are the same as the Pro variant. The Ultra model also comes with three variants with a starting price of Rs. 59,999. The base i5/8GB variant is priced at Rs. 59,999, i5/16GB variant priced at Rs. 63,999 and the higher i7/16GB variant priced at Rs. 76,999 only.
Mi TV 5X series
The new Mi TV 5X series comes with a 4K LCD panel with Dolby Vision support. This display also supports HDR 10+, HDR 10, and HLG as well. It has a 94% DCI-P3 color gamut and can show up to 1.07 billion colors. The TV has a premium metal bezel-less screen with a 96.6% screen-to-body ratio. There is a lot of features this display supports like MEMC, Adaptive brightness, and Vivid Picture Engine 2. The smart TV comes with 40W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and DTS HD audio processing. There are also Far-field Mics with Google assistant support.
The TV comes preloaded with AndroidTV 10 with Patchwall 4 software. As for the connectivity and ports, the smart TV has three HDMI 2.1, two USB 2.2, Ethernet, AV input, headphone jack, optical port and dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 support. In terms of performance, the TV has a quad-core A55 CPU coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The Mi TV 5X series has three screen sizes- 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. The 43-inch variant is priced at Rs. 31,999, 50-inch variant priced at Rs. 41,999 and the 55-inch variant is priced at Rs. 47,999 in India. Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition
Xiaomi upgraded the Router as well. As the name suggests, the new Mi Router comes with Gigabit network ports. It has Dual-Band Wi-Fi (2.4+5G) support. This dual-band Wi-Fi can give up to 1167 Mbps connection speeds. The Router has 4 Omnidirectional high-gain Antennas to maximize transmission performance. There are tons of security features like Anti-hacking protection, parental modes, and App support. This Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition is priced at Rs. 2,199 in India.
Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro
This new security camera can record at 2K resolution. It has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 support. The camera has an f1.4 large aperture and 6P lens to record better quality video at the night. There is a privacy shield and dual-microphone for noise reduction. The security camera can support different storage like microSD cards, Network storage, and cloud storage as well. Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro is priced at Rs. 4,499 in India.
