Realme just finished their GT launch event, launched GT series smartphones and Realme Book Slim in India and global markets. They already launched the 8 series with Realme 8 and 8 Pro in March. After some weeks later, they also added a 5G device to this series, Realme 8 5G. Now they are going to add two new devices to the 8 series lineup. The devices will be called Realme 8i and Realme 8s, one with a 4G chipset and another with a 5G chipset. A recent leak revealed the design and leaked the major specs of these devices. Here are all the leaked specifications of these devices.
Realme 8i full specification
According to the information from Digit India, Realme 8i will sport a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the newly launched MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. The SoC has two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.05GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
As you can see from the renders, the phone will come with a glossy back made of polycarbonate. It is expected to have 8.6mm in thickness and weighs 194 grams only. There will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles up as a power button. On the bottom, the phone has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of optics, there will be a triple camera setup on the back. The main camera will feature the new 50MP ISOCELL GN1 alongside a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there will be a 16MP selfie camera that sits under the punch hole. In addition to that, the phone will come with a huge 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging out of the box.
Realme 8s full specification
The Realme 8s will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. According to 91mobiles, the phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC. The phone will come with 6GB and 8GB RAM options, with 128GB storage.
Realme 8s design will be similar to the Realme 8i and other 8 series phones in this segment. As from the shown renders, the phone will come with a glossy finish on the back. There will be a USB Type-C port, speaker grill, and a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom.
The phone will feature a triple camera setup on the back. There will be a 64MP primary sensor alongside two more sensors. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie snapper under the punch hole. In addition to that, the phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Dart Charging support. In terms of software, the phone will come with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.
