Every Android smartphone comes with pre-installed apps by the manufacturer. Such as native browsers, third-party apps and other useless apps. These apps are called “bloatware”.

When it comes to bloatware, you have a bunch of it, especially when unboxing a new Infinix mobile smartphone for the first time, you’ll see apps such as the Scooper app, Opera News app, AHA games, Carlcare, Phoenix browser app, SIMO, Palmstore, XPark, the YoParty app, etc.

In today’s article, we have a simple Process to Remove BLOATWARE from ANY INFINIX PHONE, Also this method works on all Infinix devices. All you need is ADB drivers on your pc and USB debugging enabled in your phone.

Before we move ahead you should know what is bloatware

What is Bloatware?

The primary bloatware meaning is useless software that slows your smartphone down. Bloatware refers to any outcast, hidden program on your phone that comes pre-installed by the device manufacturer like OEMS App stores, Browsers, and other cringe social media apps, etc.

Step to Clean unnecessary apps from XOS on any Infinix device

Step 1: Enable USB Debugging

You can follow these steps to call up Developer options:

  • Settings then > my phone > scroll down>Build number.
  • Click seven times at the Software version.
  • Developer options will appear in Settings>scroll down>system
  • Open developer settings and scroll down to USB Debugging, enable it and now you are ready to debloat.

Step 2: Click Here To Download Latest Platform-tools >ADB set-up for Windows and install the ADB set-up.

Step 3: Connect your phone to the computer and change it from “charge only” mode to “file transfer (MTP)” mode. 

If the device is not getting detected, Retry after changing the USB function from “file transfer (MTP)” mode to “MIDI” mode.

Step 4: Now, On your computer, browse to the directory you extracted the ADB set-up file.

Step 5: Launch a Command Prompt by typing cmd in the directory or press Win key + R, then type cmd and press enter.

Step 6: If this is your first time running ADB, you will see a prompt on your phone asking you to allow a connection with the computer. Allow it.

If the ADB connection is successful your device serial number will show up in the cmd box

Step 7: Debloat commands Download the bloatware package list from here, “Bloatware on Infinix” or see the list below

You just have to copy the above scripts into the cmd box and run them one by one and your Infinix device will be debloated.

How to Remove BLOATWARE from ANY INFINIX PHONE using the Smartphone only?

For this you just have to follow these simple steps given below:

  1. Open up the App Drawer on your Infinix device
  2. long press on the unecessary app, open the app info
  3. When the app info section opens, simply disable the app.
  4. Now, you will not see that app in your app drawer.

The XOS launcher of Infinix you can not uninstall, We also don’t recommend cleaning it. The XOS launcher sends too many ads in the form of notifications, to tackle this, long press on the notification, then open notification setting the turn off the notification for the XOS launcher. BIngo!

Now, you will not see any ads from the XOS launcher and if you followed the steps from PC your infinix device is now a lot cleaner.
